Orchestra Software Gives Back

Orchestra Software Volunteering at Oregon Food Bank

It’s the season of giving, and the team at Orchestra Software has been busy giving back to the community.

With a goal of helping make a difference in the local community, Orchestra employees took the opportunity to volunteer at three different local Portland programs, as well as adopt local families to help make it the best Christmas ever for people in the local community.

At the beginning of the month, the team headed down to a construction site in Portland to work with The Rebuilding Center, a non-profit that works to provide affordable building and remodeling materials to the local community. Our organization helped salvage over $1000 worth of wood that will be used to build tiny homes for the homeless, as well as for other community projects.

The Orchestra crew also took to Fred Meyer to work with Store to Door, a non-profit that delivers groceries to the elderly and disabled. The team assisted the organization at the store fulfilling grocery orders, contributing to the more than 17,000 yearly grocery deliveries that Store to Door provides.

Our contingent also spent some time at the Oregon Food Bank, chopping carrots and packing meals. With the help of Orchestra, they were able to pack more than 4800 pounds of carrots, and assist with packing more than 3000 meals.

In addition, the Orchestra Software team adopted two families through Christmas Family Adoption Foundation, a local non-profit in Portland, that with the help of adopters provide toys, clothing, household essentials, and more to families in need. Gifts piled up under the Christmas tree in the lobby and the mission ended with a wrap-a-thon, where Orchestra employees managed to wrap over 100 gifts for the families.

Here at Orchestra Software, it is important for us to keep with the values and culture of our company by giving back to the community in which the team works and lives.

Happy Holidays from all of us here at Orchestra Software!
