We’ve had an extraordinary year of growth and success complete with new business partnerships, new product functionality, and most importantly – we’ve created 7 new jobs to accommodate growth! Here’s a recap of 2012 happenings at OrchestratedBEER:
This year’s Craft Brewers Conference provided the stage on which OrchestratedBEER launched its newest software offering – Software as a Service (SaaS). SaaS is the latest offering providing everything a growing craft brewery needs to run a business
Ryan Hilliard, CEO of Hilliard’s Beer, addressed questions from the media regarding why he chose OrchestratedBEER and why he was looking for software. Orchestra COO Reshad Kazimee, and CEO Brad Windecker presented a quick 5 minute overview of how Hilliard’s utilizes OrchestratedBEER to run its operations.
We interviewed 8 OrchestratedBEER customers to find out the challenges faced running a business and why they chose OrchestratedBEER software. Testimonials from Societe Brewing, Lazy Magnolia, Heavy Seas, Fullsteam, Excelsior, Figueroa Mtn., Deep Ellum, and Big Bend Brewing.
The FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) is something all breweries, especially brewpubs, should keep an eye on over the next couple years as the FDA continues to increase quality control measures in order to prevent future food-borne illnesses.
SAP relies on partners like Orchestra to customize and distribute its software through specific industry “channels”. Orchestra’s implementation methodology is also drastically different from many fellow SAP partners with its “assembly line” approach, which SAP considers the wave of the future for SMEs.
The OrchestratedBEER user conference is the first annual meeting and is open to all current OrchestratedBEER users. The conference is a prime opportunity for craft breweries to network with other OrchestratedBEER users, see the road map of future brewery management software releases, and participate in a free software training course.
Orchestra added 7 new employees in the past year to accommodate growth and to ramp up for future demand. With 30 breweries now running OrchestratedBEER, there comes a lot more customers to support, reports to create, and new functionality to add. We’ll continue to expand our team as we bring on new customers.
