Brewery Management Software Training Workshop
Our new OnDemand training workshop made its debut this past July with representatives from four different breweries from around the country including:
- Societe Brewing Co. (San Diego, CA)
- Mother Earth Brewing (Kinston, NC)
- Hilliard’s Beer (Seattle, WA)
- The Dudes’ Brewing Co. (Los Angeles, CA)
Also in attendance was a Development Strategist from the Brewer’s Professional Alliance, the latest member to join our growing OrchestratedBEER partner program. The Alliance, which features a team of seasoned brewery business consultants, CPAs, and professional service providers, recently partnered with OrchestratedBEER with the intent of learning, endorsing and recommending brewery management software as an essential tool to help craft breweries save money and run more efficiently.
About the Workshop:
The monthly OnDemand workshop includes 5 days of hands-on training and implementation assistance at our offices in Portland, Oregon. The first day includes an entry level overview of how the system works before advancing through production, sales, inventory and accounting perspectives. The first four days provide a stable knowledge base leading up to a system "go-live experience" session on the final day of training.
Traditionally, we sent consultants onsite to implement OrchestratedBEER, which is effective but may not be a financially feasible option for startups and small breweries. Hosting monthly training workshops at our offices allows us to accommodate multiple breweries, assist breweries in setting up their own data, cut costs and pass the savings on to you.

The workshop environment provides a number of benefits, especially for smaller breweries looking to get fully enabled without the costs of sending a consulting onsite (which is available if preferred). Workshop benefits include:

The expertise from the collective group of brewery representatives varies from strengths in accounting to knowledge in production, to well-rounded business experience that provides a knowledge sharing of "best brewery practices". Each attendee concurred that the group training style proved to be a major contributing factor to the success and added value of the workshop. The workshop style encourages each attendee to bring their own laptop and data, with the intention of inputting data into your system and prepare for "go-live" on the final day of training, using the guidelines and processes we provide.
Most attendees finish the training with a fully functional system with all their brewery specific information like customers, vendors, items, and recipes in place that they will be able to further customize and stabilize over the following weeks.
